Brian and Bron's Permablitz is running all weekend, from 10am Saturday 27th until 5pm on Sunday 28th at our home at 297 Sugarloaf Rd, Axedale. (inbox us on facebook if you need a map) Please come whenever it suits you and leave when you need to.The invitation is also open for people to stay overnight on Saturday if they so choose. There is plenty of room in the house, in the bus, or camping. RSVP is not required unless people are staying overnight on Saturday. We have a number of jobs that we would like to get done including, preparing gardens and planting in the veggie garden, terracing a slope below our house and planting it out, cladding our chook shed, planting olive trees and doing some water harvesting/erosion prevention work in our forest. We will provide all the necessary tools - but if people could bring their own gloves that would be great. We will also provide lunch on both days, tea on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning for those who are staying overnight. If you could bring afternoon/morning tea to share depending on when you are coming that would be great. It would be great to see as many of you as possible, we are looking forward to a fun and productive weekend! For more info call Brian 0400 418 936 or Bron 0408 509 733.

Welcome to Permablitz Bendigo
All interested people are invited to
join in a relaxed morning of gardening and good conversation with the
aim of meeting other people who are interested in gardening and
community Permaculture.
A Permablitz is when more than one
person gathers to create or add to an existing edible garden, share
knowledge and skills and have fun. This can take place anywhere and
is a great way to give your own garden a boost, learn some new tricks
from other gardeners, meet like minded people and build up
inspiration. Of course this has been going on for as long as people
have been growing food.
The first event this year will be held
on Saturday 16th March at the Gravel Hill Gardens on
Bramble Street (behind the Salvation Army Building at 65-71 Mundy
Street) from 10.30 to Midday followed by Lunch. Please bring a plate,
cup and cutlery if you can, with or without food. Don't worry if you
don't have time or don't feel like making anything as there will be
plenty provided. Bring some gloves and any interested friends. We
will be working on some gardening projects and you are welcome to
help as much or as little as you like. Future Permablitz events can
be arranged on the day or on the website. They could take place
anywhere people grow food.
